I’m Elisabeth Root. Like many of my clients, I’m a tech leader in an industry that is wildly different than when we joined. As a coach, I help high achieving professionals envision and design the encore years while they are still in the thick of the day to day. Yes, you can make space for your dreams to emerge. Whether you envision yourself in executive leadership until traditional retirement, or imagine an encore as florist, a fishing excursion guide, a doula, consultant or whatever other idea you daydream about, it’s your job to transform the ideas into intention and experimentation. It gives your day job a whole new meaning too.

Strategy, when it’s tied to your life’s work, is a whole body experience. It’s an act of alchemy to blend all you’ve built into a vision and plan for the encore era of work.

At one point in my career, just after covid, I left my global role at Google Cloud because I’d lost myself in it and despite the good reviews, it wasn’t a good thing. During my 2 years away from big tech I became a trusted advisor to executives at companies like Microsoft, Databricks, NVIDIA, NetApp and more, high achievers who needed permission to dream again. While many of those leaders initially came to me for guidance around building strategic cloud alliances (my day job!) almost all of them moved into something much more existential during the course of our work. And with that, so did my offering.

My proven framework, Catalyst to Clarity, is a 6 or 12 week journey where you practice mindful self witnessing, commit to reclaiming your creative agency and when you’re ready, set the strategy that activates the work that feels like you. The process is deep, actionable and prescriptive. You will come out of it with a clear vision, new habits - and maybe even a new business.
