I’m Elisabeth Root. I founded ERA after walking from a hard won global role at Google Cloud in 2023, over it after 13 straight years leading emerging businesses on hypergrowth tech partnership teams and wanting to help leaders rise above that noise to become differentiated and magnetic leaders. My offerings evolved over time to include those tech leaders working through the decision of leaving this path altogether. No matter if you’re in our out, the work is the same. You need to know the gift you’re ready to share with the world, and be ready to receive what the world has in store for you once you do.

Rest and pivots have served my growth over the duration of my career - from PR and Marketing to Real Estate to Big Tech, to Advising and Coaching. Leaving is sometimes where the lesson is. Other times it’s in the staying. The flex is knowing that our success wherever we are is less about what we do than about how well we allow our essence to shine as we do it. That’s what makes you shine. Not just hitting your OKRs before they change them again.

We’ve all been enmeshed in toxic systems. And noot only in corporate work. It will happen in whatever system you’re in until you identify your role in it. The practice of finding and maintaining that clarity is lifelong; more advanced lessons emerge as we move through each chapter. This is how we achieve the resilience, bravery and badassery that we’re here for. This is how we arrive at the great work of our lives. This is the work I do with leaders in ERA.
